Event Cum Social Media Manager
The Event Cum Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing campus events while managing the university’s social media presence. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent organizational skills who can drive engagement, manage communications, and ensure events are executed seamlessly. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both event management and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Management:
- Plan, organize, and execute university events, including cultural, academic, and community events.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and external partners to ensure successful event delivery.
- Oversee logistics, budgeting, and on-site event management.
- Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage content across multiple social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Monitor social media channels, engage with the audience, and manage online communities.
- Integrated Campaigns:
- Coordinate the promotion of events through social media and other digital channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create integrated event campaigns that maximize outreach.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze the performance of events and social media campaigns.
- Provide regular reports on engagement metrics and propose improvements based on data insights.
- Brand Management:
- Ensure all communications and event executions align with the university’s brand identity and standards.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends and event management best practices.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
