The Faculty of Pharmacy at Parul University Goa represents the intersection of scientific inquiry, healthcare service, and innovation. Bachelor of Pharmacy
The Bachelor of Pharmacy program teaches students about medicinal substances which function as essential components of healthcare systems. The program covers all aspects of drugs including their preparation processes and testing methods and various safety procedures. Students gain knowledge of pharmaceutical chemistry and pharmacology together with quality control methods and hands-on laboratory experience. The course helps students understand how medicines are developed and used to treat patients. Graduates have job opportunities in pharmaceutical companies and hospitals and research laboratories and healthcare-related sectors.

- Eligibility Criteria: Candidate shall have passed 12th Examination in Science stream with Physics,Chemistry and Maths (PCM) OR Physics,Chemistry and Biology (PCB) subjects from a recognized board.

Bachelor of Pharmacy - Lateral Entry
B.Pharm Lateral Entry is designed for diploma holders who want to continue their pharmacy education. Students are admitted directly into the second year, as they already have basic pharmacy knowledge. The program offers advanced pharmaceutical studies together with laboratory training and hands-on experience. The program enables students to develop their understanding of medicine and drug security and quality control standards. Graduates are prepared for professional roles in pharmaceutical industries, hospitals, and research organizations.

Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutics
The Ph.D. program in Pharmaceutics trains students to conduct research on drug formulation and delivery methods. Students study how medicines are designed, prepared, and improved. The program requires students to conduct laboratory experiments and perform scientific evaluations. The graduates find employment in research laboratories and academic institutions and the pharmaceutical sector.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who have completed (a) A 1-year/2-semester master's degree programme after a 4-year/8- semester bachelor’s degree programme or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree in the subject concerned, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. (b) A candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. Candidates having postgraduate diploma / certificate awarded by a foreign degree / diploma/ certificate awarded by a foreign university / institute should in their own interest, obtain and submit the equivalent of their diploma / degree / certificate with Master's degree of a recognized Indian University from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. In case of candidates holding a qualifying degree from a foreign university, registration for Ph.D. will be confirmed after determination of equivalence by Parul University, Goa Campus. For Ph.D. in interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary subjects, Master's degree or equivalent in any subject with 55% marks and two years of experience in the area of interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary research in which admission is being sought. The qualifying degree should be recognized by the concerned Apex Bodies or any other approved and recognized Scientific Bodies of the Government of India and approved by the Academic Council / Board of Management/ Governing Body of the University for Provisional Registration for the Ph.D. Degree. Candidates who have completed their master degree in Open and Distance learning programme may be eligible as per UGC directions given from time to time.

Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Technology
The Ph.D. program in Pharmaceutical Technology studies research related to drug production and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Students learn how medicines are produced, tested, and improved. The program focuses on developing three skills that include quality assessment and safety evaluation and innovative product development. Pharmaceutical industry professionals can pursue research and teaching and technical positions after they complete their degree program.

Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance
The Ph.D. program in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance studies medicine safety and quality assurance. Students research quality systems, standards, and testing methods. The program develops research and teaching abilities which graduates can use to work in pharmaceutical companies.

Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology
The Ph.D. in Pharmacology studies how medicines work in the human body. The students investigate the effects and safety and responses of drugs. The program includes laboratory research and scientific analysis. The graduates demonstrate competency to work in research and teaching and clinical studies and pharmaceutical development.

Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacognosy
The Ph.D. program in Pharmacognosy trains students to conduct research with plants which serve as natural sources of medicinal compounds. Students study natural compounds which have distinct properties and therapeutic applications. The program combines traditional knowledge with scientific research. The graduates enter research positions while also teaching and developing natural medicine products.
