With an illustrious career spanning over 23 years, Dr. Lalit Lata Jha stands as a visionary academician and leader in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. She completed her B.Pharm and M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Biotechnology) with distinction from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and earned her Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Dr. Jha’s academic journey is marked by her passion for research and innovation. Her expertise lies in pharmaceutical biotechnology, transgenic plants as bioreactors, and advanced drug delivery systems. She has successfully completed multiple government-funded research projects, mentored over 40 postgraduate students, guided six doctoral scholars, and has more than 40 research publications to her credit. Throughout her career, she has held key leadership positions, contributing significantly to the establishment and academic growth of premier pharmacy institutions. She currently chairs the Board of Studies, Faculty of Pharmacy at Parul University, and plays an active role in curriculum development, academic auditing, and quality enhancement initiatives. Dr. Jha’s contributions to education and research have been widely recognized through several prestigious awards, including the Bharat Shiksha Gaurav Puruskar, Best Principal Award by KTK Foundation.
