Dr. Jeyalakshmi K brings over 19 years of academic and clinical expertise in Nursing education and research. She holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and a Master’s in Community Health Nursing. With a rich professional journey spanning institutions like Manipal College of Nursing, she has held key roles including Senior Assistant Professor and academic mentor. Her research interests include community-based interventions, elderly health, chronic disease management, and competency-based education, with numerous publications in Scopus and Q1/Q2-indexed journals. She has guided several undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and presented her work at prestigious national and international conferences. Recognized for her leadership, communication skills, and innovative teaching approaches, Dr. Jeyalakshmi is committed to fostering a culture of research, clinical excellence, and holistic education at Parul University Goa. Her professional affiliations include the Trained Nurses Association of India, the Nursing Research Society of India, and the Geriatric Nurses’ Association of India.
