Director/Deputy Director – Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Parul University Goa is a not-for-profit, world-class institution, nestled in the heart of Goa, established in 2025 by the Parul Education Trust to redefine higher education through an immersive experience of quality and excellence at the shores of India’s coastal paradise.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vision & Institutional Alignment
    Establish, lead, and scale the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell in line with the University’s vision.
  2. Innovation Culture Building
    Foster a strong startup and innovation ecosystem among students, faculty, researchers, and alumni.
  3. Startup Programs & Pipelines
    Design and implement pre-incubation, incubation, and acceleration programs.
  4. Startup Mentorship & Market Access
    Mentor startups from ideation to market launch, enabling funding, mentorship, and global exposure.
  5. Grants & Resource Mobilization
    Secure and manage government, CSR, and international grants for innovation and startup support.
  6. Policy Implementation & Nodal Role
    Act as the nodal authority for state and national startup and innovation policy implementation.
  7. Academic Integration
    Embed entrepreneurship into curricula through credit courses, certifications, and experiential learning.
  8. Innovation Infrastructure Development
    Establish and manage FAB Labs, incubators, and co-working spaces.
  9. Industry & Ecosystem Partnerships
    Build partnerships with industry, investors, incubators, and accelerators.
  10. Flagship Innovation Events
    Conceptualize and execute startup festivals, hackathons, demo days, and summits.
  11. Performance Metrics & Impact Tracking
    Monitor and report outcomes such as startups incubated, jobs created, IP, revenue, and funding.
  12. Accreditation & Rankings Support
    Provide strategic inputs for NAAC, NIRF, and innovation-related rankings.
  13. Team Leadership & Capacity Building
    Build and lead a high-performing EIC team, including faculty, staff, and student leaders.

Qualifications & Eligibility:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in entrepreneurship, startup incubation, innovation management, or academia–industry collaboration, with proven success in grants, program management, and ecosystem building. Minimum experience - Director - 10+ years & Deputy Director - 5+ years
